Judge Jeff Branick Maintains Burn Ban Following ESD/VFD Recommendations
Jefferson County, Texas - After thorough consideration and in response to recommendations from the Emergency Service Districts (ESD) and Volunteer Fire Departments (VFDs), Jefferson County Judge Jeff Branick has decided to maintain the existing burn ban.
The decision comes as a proactive measure to safeguard public safety and protect against the heightened risk of wildfires in the county.
Judge Branick expressed his commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of Jefferson County residents, stating, "We take the recommendations of our Emergency Service Districts and Volunteer Fire Departments very seriously. Their expertise and insights are invaluable in making informed decisions regarding the burn ban."
The burn ban will remain in effect until further notice. Residents and visitors are urged to adhere to the ban and exercise caution to prevent fire hazards during this time.
