In a Proclamation at last night's City Council Meeting, Mayor Thurman Bartie proclaimed the month of July as Parks and Recreation Month. Parks and Recreation staff looked on as the proclamation was read and sealed by the Mayor. Other items on the Mayor's first City Council meeting included updates on the GLO Homeowner Buyout Program, and several Economic Development Resolutions.
