[ARCHIVED] Port Arthur City Council Meeting Recap: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; Census 2030; July Financials

The Port Arthur City Council met at 9:30 AM for a Regular meeting on September 13, 2022, in City Hall Council Chambers. Among the business discussed, presentations were made by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, updating the projects that improve drainage and stormwater and inviting the public to an Open House. Dr. Albert Thigpen, Dr. Delena King and Cheryl Gibbs presented an invitation from the U.S. Census Bureau to comment on ideas the public may have regarding the upcoming 2030 Census. Kandy Daniels, Interim Finance Director, updated the Council on the July financial status.
