The Port Arthur Economic Development Corporation has a scholarship available to five graduating high school seniors that are Port Arthur residents and have been accepted to attend Lamar State College Port Arthur for the following degree programs:

• Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning
• Instrumentation Technology
• Medical Coding Specialist
• Medical Office Administration
• Process Technology
• Surgical Technology
• Nursing
