The Port Arthur City Council met at 9:30 AM for a Regular meeting on March 1, 2022, in City Hall Council Chambers. Among the business discussed, a call for improving safety measures throughout the city, the Rotary Club to do a Taste of Summer, and the Port Arthur Fire Department is recognizing Fire Fighters who saved lives.

A Public Hearing For The Purpose Of Obtaining Public Input To Consider Whether Or Not To Issue A Permit To G.T. Logistics, LLC For The Installation Of A Twenty Inch (20") Gasoline Pipeline And A Four Inch ( 4") Fiber Optics Conduit Within The Corporate Limits Of Port Arthur, Jefferson County, Texas. This Pipeline Will Originate At A Facility West Of S.H. 87 North Of Texaco Island Connecting The Two Facilities.


Fire Chief Greg Benson announced honoring Fire Fighters for their life-saving acts in an emergency, and recognizing promotions within the department in a private ceremony on March 2, 2022.
