THE PORT ARTHUR HEALTH DEPARTMENT REPORTS COVID-19 RELATED DEATHS FOR PORT ARTHUR AND NEDERLAND

 

January 25, 2022

It is with great sadness that the City of Port Arthur Health Department is reporting COVID-19 related deaths in residents of Port Arthur and Nederland. The individual from Port Arthur was an African American Female between the age range of 80-85, and the resident of Nederland was a White Female between the age range of 80-85.  

It has been determined that both individuals had underlying health conditions. From the onset of the Pandemic, there have been a total of One Hundred Three (103) COVID-19 related deaths in residents of Port Arthur, and Forty-Nine (49) for the City of Nederland.  

We emphasize again that COVID-19 is still a very serious disease. Please continue to be vigilant and protect yourself, your family, and others.
