[ARCHIVED] Application available for the City of Port Arthur's DR-4332 CDBG Disaster Recovery

The City of Port Arthur held a public hearing during its regularly scheduled council meeting, on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, regarding the submission of an application to the Texas General Land Office (GLO) for a DR-4332 Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) grant.  The purpose of this meeting was to allow citizens an opportunity to discuss the citizen participation plan, the development of community development needs, the amount of CDBG-DR funding available, the amount of CDBG-DR funds to be utilized to meet the LMI national objective, all eligible CDBG-DR activities, and the use of past CDBG funds.  The City encourages citizens to participate in the development of this CDBG-DR application and to make their views known by presenting their opinions, comments, and suggestions to the Grants Program Administrator at City Hall, 444 Fourth Street, Port Arthur, Texas, during regular business hours.  Persons with disabilities and individuals who require auxiliary aids, or services, should contact City Hall to arrange for assistance at 409-983-8251.
