[ARCHIVED] PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE CITY OF PORT ARTHUR DR-4332 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT DISASTER RECOVER

The City of Port Arthur will hold a public hearing during its regularly scheduled council meeting, at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at City Council Chambers, 5th Floor, 444 Fourth Street, Port Arthur, Texas, regarding the submission of an application to the Texas General Land Office (GLO) for a DR-4332 Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) grant.  The purpose of this meeting is to allow citizens an opportunity to discuss the citizen participation plan, the development of community development needs, the amount of CDBG-DR funding available, the amount of CDBG-DR funds to be utilized to meet the LMI national objective, all eligible CDBG-DR activities, and the use of past CDBG funds.  The City encourages citizens to participate in the development of this CDBG-DR application and to make their views known at this public hearing.  Citizens unable to attend this meeting may submit their views and proposals to the Grants Program Administrator at City Hall, 444 Fourth Street, Port Arthur, Texas, during regular business hours.  Persons with disabilities that wish to attend this meeting should contact City Hall to arrange for assistance at 409-983-8251.  Individuals who require auxiliary aids or services for this meeting should contact City Hall at least two days before the meeting so that appropriate arrangements may be made.
