The City Council of the City of Port Arthur conducted the Regular Meeting at 5:30 P.M. CST on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, by in-person, telephonic and videoconference media in City Hall Council Chambers. Among the business discussed, Mayor Bartie proclaimed Red Ribbon Week from October 23 – 31, 2021, in the City of Port Arthur. Red Ribbon Week highlights and honors business, government, parents, law enforcement, media, medical, religious, institutions, schools, senior citizens, service organizations, and youth for their commitment to healthy, drug-free lifestyles.

  • P.R. No. 22211 - A Resolution Authorizing The Acceptance Of A Donation From Cheniere Energy, Inc. In The Amount $50,000.00 For Improvements To Peoples Park.
  • However, under UNFINISHED BUSINESS, P. O. 7001 failed due to a tie vote.
