[ARCHIVED] Port Arthur Proudly Introduces Fire Chief Greg Benson

Chief Greg Benson comes to Port Arthur with a wealth of knowledge, particularly after spending his entire career in Fire, EMS, and Emergency Management in a wide range of experiences and places. Chief Benson notes that Port Arthur is a very active community, and seeks to find ways to interact and engage with the city as a whole. He wants to aim his vision toward impacting community health and safety, as well as the health and safety of first responders-Fire and Police.

His "team approach" will help to build a stronger unit in all public safety divisions, including Emergency Management operations, and meeting the needs of every population within our diverse community. Public Outreach is important to Chief Benson, and he wants to expand efforts as quickly as possible to be of benefit to our citizens who need help; this is what he believes is the key to success. Welcome to Port Arthur, Chief!
