NOTICE FROM THE PORT ARTHUR HEALTH DEPARTMENT

 

The City of Port Arthur Health Department continues to offer COVID vaccines at the Texas Artists Museum (TAM), 3501 Cultural Center Drive, Port Arthur, TX   77642 Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The available vaccines include Pfizer (12 and above), Moderna (18 and above), and the Johnson and Johnson vaccine (one shot for 18 and above).

 

Studies have found that Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are effective against several variants of concern, including the Delta variant.  The Delta variant is a fast-moving form of the coronavirus that is now found in 96 countries, including the United States.  The Delta variant is now infecting at least 1 out of every 5 people who get the virus in the United States.
